I’m Jamie, Executive Producer at Definition. With a career spanning two decades, I’ve had the privilege of immersing myself in the world of telly, creating impactful commercials, shaping brands, and navigating the realm of social video production.

Throughout my journey, I’ve honed my skills behind the camera, bringing stories to life with precision and passion. From capturing captivating footage to orchestrating the perfect animation, my experience has encompassed every aspect of video creation.

Among the highlights of my career, there’s a collective achievement that I hold dear—leading Definition’s video division to be recognized as the top video production company in the UK, not once, but for two consecutive years. It’s a testament to the dedication and talent of our team.

I’m Sian, the Head of Video at Definition’s dynamic video and animation division. With over a decade’s experience, combined with my background in music and sound, I like to think I bring a unique blend of creativity and technical expertise to our clients projects.

Obsessed with creating visually stunning content that exceeds our clients’ challenges, I’m driven to make the brands we work with stand out and succeed with video.

Embracing the entire process of producing videos, from initial creative to the meticulous details of post-production – I’ve also been lucky enough to produce and direct shoots on a global scale, from the bustling streets of Singapore to the picturesque landscapes of Switzerland. I’m Arshad, the motion magician. As part of the video production team, I bring imaginative thinking and visual literacy together, creating animated stories that connect and resonate with diverse audiences.

Starting off in graphic design laid the groundwork for my love of form and colour, which effortlessly transitioned into motion graphics and animation. Over a span of a decade, my career trajectory took on a dramatic curve, refining my abilities and allowing my creativity to extend to moving images.

One significant milestone of my career was the successful transition from graphic design to video editing and animation. Today, this skill set enables me to craft visually stunning and emotionally engaging content for brands, leaving memorable digital footprints.

I’m Emma, your on-call animator. Sketching, drawing, and bringing stills to life, this is my creative cosmos. Whether it’s detailed illustrations or minimalist lines, my goal is to transform ideas into engaging animation, one frame at a time.

My animation adventure includes crafting ads, explainers, and communication videos that speak volumes. Each project brings new challenges, and overcoming these is my speciality. There’s a deep sense of satisfaction I derive from knowing that my animations serve as vital vehicles driving businesses closer to their goals, enabling them to connect with audiences more effectively. And, of course, I bring my own creativity and my genuine love of animation to everything I create.

I’m Justin, an animator here at Definition. I specialise in character animation and storytelling. With over a decade of experience in bringing visuals to life, crafting animated worlds that captivate and engage is my bread and butter. I’m an expert at transforming ideas on paper into dynamic narratives through inventive animation techniques and powerful character design.

Whichever medium – from detailed animations to minimalist visuals – I thrive on finding creative ways to breathe life into every frame. I love the challenge of making characters move and speak with emotion. After all, great animation is about more than just movement—it’s about telling a story that resonates. My goal is to ensure that every animation we create not only looks fantastic but also connects deeply with audiences. This approach leads to meaningful interactions and unforgettable experiences.

Hi! I’m Grace, a Video Producer at Definition, where I bring a decade of production experience to the table – starting with my very first job on the iconic TV show Big Brother. I’ve done it all—from making the teas, to casting to setting up and filming shoots in the UK and internationally.

About four years ago, I moved into the digital world, creating video content with household names like Jamie Oliver. Here at Definition, I’m deeply involved in client management, taking briefs from your initial sparks all the way to final, polished delivery.

I love the entire creative process, from coming up with ideas for any form of video project, from live-action to animation. I spend my time meticulously planning each step to ensure timely, within-budget delivery. I love seeing a project evolve from those initial thoughts in an email to a final product that thrills and delights. And, hopefully building strong, lasting relationships along the way.

On weekends you’ll likely find me exploring the beautiful Peak District with my dog, cooking up a storm on a Sunday, or discovering new corners of Manchester since I moved here.

I’m Bex, a Producer here at Definition. I’ve come a long way since my baptism of fire in the TV industry – casting and chaperoning the female contestants on ITV’s Take Me Out! I’ve worked on live cookery shows, celebrity quiz shows, motorhome-themed travelogues, BBC documentaries and everything in between, so trust me when I say I’m ready for anything.

My transition into the world of branded content took place via a podcast on regenerative agriculture for McCain. This was a new realm for me and ignited a passion for telling stories and building conversations around sustainability. I’m thrilled to be able to continue this work with some of our clients at Definition.

As a video producer, I’m enjoying bringing my experience in great quality, entertaining and informative TV to the corporate world, creating engaging content with a high production value.
